On July 29, students from the Habersham County School System will have the opportunity to receive school supplies from their SROs. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until supplies run out, at the Habersham County Fairgrounds in Clarkesville.
The event aims to equip students with the things they need for their grades and classes. If possible, parents are asked to bring with them a list of needed supplies.
During the event, students can select a backpack and fill it with supplies. School resource officers and other community partners will be on hand to help them with the process.
Students must be present to participate. Supplies will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
