The Habersham County Republican Party (HCRP) has filed a notice of intent with the Habersham County Election Supervisor to qualify Republican candidates for local offices for the 2016 Election Cycle. In a press release local party chairman Carl Blackburn says, “Candidates who exemplify our Republican values and seek to support and promote the values of our party when carrying out their duties while in office are encouraged to qualify.”

Qualifying will be held March 7-10 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and on March 11 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on the second floor of the South State Bank branch located at 949 Washington Street in Clarkesville.
