Haven Beavers has joined the Habersham Chamber as its new Community Relations and Marketing Assistant.
Beavers is a recent graduate of Georgia College and State University with a degree in business marketing. Prior to her role at the Chamber, she interned at a graphic design firm in Cairns, Australia.
Chamber officials say Beavers brings a passion for creativity and branding assistance to her new job. In addition to providing marketing support, she will oversee the chamber’s membership.
“We are so excited to have Haven on board with us here,” says Habersham Chamber of Commerce President Mary Beth Horton. “The board and staff of the chamber have worked hard over the past year to rebrand the chamber and generate greater visibility for members and the business community. I am looking forward to see Haven utilize her experience and her creativity to amplify our existing efforts and build upon our past successes.”
Beaver’s hiring marks the latest staffing change at the Chamber. Long-time Administrative Assistant Kristy Hammond left in October after six years on the job. She now serves as the Tourism Coordinator for the City of Cornelia.
