At the commission’s public hearing on June 24, commissioners did not come to a consensus on the FY 2025 budget. Due to not approving the budget prior to June 30, the commission was forced to approve a spending resolution to avoid a shutdown of most county operations.

Both public hearings and consideration of approving the budget and the millage rate will take place at 6 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room in the Habersham County Courthouse at 295 Llewellyn Street in Clarkesville.
