State Troopers in Gainesville are gearing up for a night of fall family fun! Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville will hold a special community event on Monday, October 23.
Troopers will hand out bags of candy to kids, there will be bounce houses, patrol cars, a motor unit, and other public safety displays. GSP SFC Anthony Coleman says people may also do a walk through of the patrol post.
The event will run from 3-7 p.m. and is open to people of all ages. All activities are FREE!
“This will be like an early Halloween treat to them,” says Coleman. “We will also give out some gun locks to parents while supplies lasts.”
An on-site recruiter also will be on hand with information about jobs and careers with the State Patrol.
State Patrol Post 6 is located at 2000 Cleveland Highway, Gainesville, GA 30506.
