
The Georgia State Patrol has released the name of the driver killed Saturday morning in a head-on collision on GA 115 in White County. He’s identified as 30-year-old Ulises Delgado-Carrera of Murrayville.
The accident happened just before 7 a.m. west of GA 384/Duncan Bridge Road.
Delgado-Carrera was traveling west on GA 115 in a Toyota Scion. For unknown reasons, his car crossed the double yellow line and struck a Ford F150 head-on, according to Cpl. Spencer Munger of Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville. A Ford Escape traveling eastbound was unable to avoid the crash and struck the Scion. A fourth vehicle traveling west was struck by debris.
The driver of the pickup, identified as 39-year-old Tony Hooper of Cleveland, was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. The two other drivers, 37-year-old Jeremy Craig and 45-year-old Erica Mokarem of Demorest, were not injured.
