A Clarkesville man died in a single-vehicle wreck Monday night on Highway 17 northwest of Clarkesville.
Shortly before 8 p.m., 37-year-old Johnathan Chad Huff was driving a Dodge Magnum northbound on GA 17 north of Geroge Moss Road. The vehicle ran off the roadway and struck an embankment and a small tree before overturning onto its top, state troopers say.
The car landed in a driveway with Huff trapped underneath. A resident called 911 to report the crash.
Troopers from Georgia State Patrol Post 7 in Toccoa investigated the wreck.
