Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday for a woman killed last week in a wreck on the Toccoa Bypass.
Crystal Lynn Looney died in the single-vehicle crash on Highway 17 near Highway 145 on September 14. She was a resident of Toccoa who previously lived in Nicholson.
The Georgia State Patrol is not releasing details about the wreck, saying it remains under investigation. Stephens County Coroner Chris Stephens says Looney died at the scene.
In her obituary, Looney’s family says being a grandmother “was her whole world.” Looney leaves behind four children and five grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel in Eatonton.
