Graham Hollis Dellinger

Graham Hollis Dellinger, 89, of Atlanta, died January 19, 2022, with daughters by her side. Residing at Canterbury Court in Atlanta for the past 10 years she enjoyed meeting new people, reacquainting with former friends, and being out in the gardens. But her heart belonged in the North Georgia mountains – especially her home in Clarkesville, Georgia.  Graham was a faithful parishioner of Grace-Calvary Episcopal Church and taught adult Bible study for many years. Prior to moving to Clarkesville, she and her husband, the late Dr. Ray Dellinger, and their daughters lived in Marietta, Georgia. Graham was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and volunteered her organizational skills on community projects such as helping establish the Cobb County Youth Museum as a learning center. She enjoyed reading books, taking photographs, calligraphy, finding wildflowers, and supporting her family and friends.

Graham is survived by her three daughters and their spouses: Laurie and Scott Caraway, Lynn and Ted Derryberry, and Catherine and Tim Buckley; her six grandchildren:  Matthew Caraway, Erin Beitila (Taylor), John Derryberry (Aubrey), Reagan Derryberry, Ceilidh Buckley, and Arin Buckley; and one great-grandchild, Emi Derryberry.  Graham was a gracious, gentle yet strong, caring, intelligent woman.  She will be missed.

A memorial service for Graham will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Grace-Calvary Episcopal Church, 260 E Green St, Clarkesville, GA, 30523, (706) 754-2451.  Those in attendance for the memorial service are requested to follow current COVID protocol. Interment will be private.
