The Habersham Central High boys and girls golf teams competed in the GHSA Area 4-AAAAA tournament. The Habersham varsity girls won the area championship, and the Habersham boys team placed 6th.
The Banks County and Tallulah Falls girls teams also won championships, while the boys teams from Banks, Union County and TFS came in as runners-up.
Stephens County played for the Area 4-AA championship on April 29. And on May 5, Area 3-AAA teams from Dawson, Jefferson, Lumpkin, and White counties take to the green.
