It’s one of the biggest games of the year, and football fans in Baldwin are getting ready. The city is partnering with Life Church to host a free viewing party and tailgating for the Georgia-Florida game today, Sat., Oct. 28.
Tailgating begins at 2 p.m. in the church parking lot at 110 Church Street. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. The game will be projected onto a big screen inside the church sanctuary.
The event is free and open to the public.
“We love our city, and we realize not everyone has the chance to watch the game – much less with a big screen. We want to open our doors up. We want to offer our church as a meeting point for everyone to gather in our city for the game,” says Life Church Pastor Bob Petty.
Organizers say this is a family-friendly event. Alcohol is prohibited.
