George Louis Charriez Jr., age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Born in New York, New York, on November 7, 1947, he was the son of the late George Louis Charriez, Sr & Hilda Amelia Montalvo Charriez. George was the owner and operator of Mr. Sooty’s Chimney Cleaning Service in White County for over 25 years. During his career, he served over three thousand customers. Most of all, George was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Charriez.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Velazquez Charriez of Jefferson, children, Mark Charriez, Jefferson Ga., George L. & Lauren Charriez, Jefferson Ga., Michelle & Roger Harris, Cleveland, Ga., Marisa Sheffield, Jefferson, Ga. Survivors also include brother Roland Charriez, Plattekill, New York, and sister and brother-in-law Brenda & Lou Bellos Plattekill, New York.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, March 2, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 38 Darnel Road, Jefferson, Georgia, 30549
