Demorest, GA – The winter weather which forced Piedmont’s first two softball doubleheaders to be postponed has forced more schedule changes as the Lady Lion softball contests at Berry have been cancelled as has the women’s lacrosse game vs. Rhodes College.
Berry’s softball squad will now head south instead of hosting the Lady Lions on Saturday traveling to play Huntingdon College, another USA South member, down in Montgomery, Alabama.
For the Lady Lion lacrosse team, the season opener vs. Hendrix is still on as of now, but the Lynx of Rhodes College will not be coming to play this coming Sunday vs. PC. No makeup dates for either of the cancelled contests has been announced.
