Students in Ginger Armour’s business and computer science class at South Habersham Middle School play a credit game called “Keeping Score” with the assistance of Mr. Wade Rhodes, Junior Achievement Teacher. Each student draws a situation card that can either add to their credit score or decrease it. They have three lifelines that they can use during the game. The winner is the one with the highest credit score at the end.
This game teaches students about how important a good credit rating is for your adult life and how to guard it. Pictured (left to right) with Mr. Rhodes are eighth grade students Kristen Barber, Breann Smith, Haley Jernigan, and Abbi Shockey.
