Funeral services are scheduled Saturday for a Cornelia man who was struck and killed by a train Friday in Alto. 22-year old Tobie Saifone Thonetheva was killed near Mount Vernon Mills where he worked.
State Trooper First Class Aaron Walden says Thonetheva was walking east alongside the railroad tracks near Mount Vernon Mills when the train struck him from behind.
The 22-year old Thonetheva is survived by his mother and three brothers.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, April 15, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Monks of the Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dhamma officiating.
