Funeral services are scheduled for the two teenagers killed in a car wreck in White County over the weekend. 16-year old Cecily Hamilton and 18-year old Taylor Swing drowned after the car they were riding in plunged off an embankment into Town Creek west of Cleveland. The wreck was discovered Sunday morning. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were students at White County High School.

Funeral services for Hamilton are scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, at 4:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504. The family will receive friends today, Tuesday, March 17, from 5 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Hamilton is survived by her mother & step-father, Brandi & Josh Poole of Cleveland, her father & step-mother, Shannon & Alicia Hamilton of Gainesville, brother, Kale Hamilton of Cleveland, step-sister, Haley Webb of Gainesville, step-brother, Connor Free of Gainesville, grandmothers, Shelby Coker of Gainesville and Ann King of Dahlonega and her grandparents, Rusty & Renee Hamilton of Dahlonega.
Funeral services for Swing are scheduled for 2pm tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home 118 N Brooks St, Cleveland, GA 30528. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8pm tonight, Tuesday, March 17, at the funeral home.
Swing is survived by his parents, Jeffery and Sara Swing, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Racheal and Derek Caudill, Cleveland; maternal grandfather, David Avery, Dacula; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Avery, Wisconsin; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Richards, Chesnee, SC; Elizabeth and Adam Cobb, Chesnee, SC; Charles and Amy Swing, Cleveland; Jacob and Crystal Avery, Chesnee, SC; Jack Swing, Cleveland.
