CLEVELAND, Ga. (WRWH) — Tesnatee Gap Elementary School art teacher Leann Fuller is the White County School System Teacher of the Year for the 2024-25 school year. The announcement was made Thursday evening during a ceremony at White County Middle School.
“I’m completely humbled by this, and I just feel so grateful…this is amazing,” said Fuller upon receiving the honor.
Fuller will represent White County in the Georgia Teacher of the Year program. School board chair Missy Jarrard said she is proud to have Fuller represent the county.
“It’s just so obvious as you talk with her, as you watch her with her students, as you watch her in the community, she has a servant’s heart for serving our community, as well as our students,” said Jarrard.
White County’s 2023 Teacher of the Year, Holly Witcher, is currently serving as Georgia Teacher of the Year.
