The Classic Cruise In and free movie that were scheduled to take place tonight in Clarkesville have been canceled due to the weather.
Clarkesville Main Street Manager MaryBeth Horton announced the cancellation shortly before 5 p.m. “We regret to announce that the Classic Cruise In and Friday Night Flicks have been CANCELLED tonight due to the approaching inclement weather. There is no rain date set at this time. We are sincerely disappointed, but the safety of our community is always first and foremost. Thank you for understanding.”
Tonight was to be Clarkesville’s official summer send off, marking the last two big Friday Night Live events of the season.
Clarkesville’s next big outdoor event is scheduled for Saturday, September 24th when Taste of Clarkesville returns to the downtown Square.
