Tallulah Falls held a lead for much of the game, but a 4-run sixth by Franklin County resulted in a 6-5 loss Wednesday on the road.

The Indians drew first blood on a second-inning Wyatt Dorsey single to left to plate Ashton Roache. Franklin County tied the game on a solo homer in the third. Tallulah Falls went back ahead in the fourth after the first two batters reached base. Chase Pollock laid down a sac bunt for the go-ahead run, scoring Roache.

Cole Bonitatibus gave TFS a great start as he continued to roll through four frames, limiting the damage to the solo home run. He struck out eight against just four hits and two walks. He left the game with a 4-1 lead, as the Indians had added an RBI single by Diego Gonzalez and an RBI double by Rohajae Pinder.

Pinder came out of the pen and worked around an unearned run in the bottom half of the fifth, which brought the Lions within 4-2. Franklin scratched across one in the fifth before a monster 3-run homer put the home team up 6-4. TFS got a run back in the seventh, but the next batter flied out to end the game.

Pinder took the loss on the mound. TFS had four hits (Gonzalez, Roache, Pinder, Dorsey). The Indians are now 1-1 on the season.
