The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest will host its first stakeholder meeting on Foothills Landscape Project implementation Thursday, October 13. The event is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. at Cohutta Springs Conference Center in Crandall, Georgia.
Forest Service specialists from the Conasauga, Blue Ridge, and Chattooga River Ranger Districts will be available in person to answer questions on specific proposed implementation plans for the upcoming year, including the draft Implementation Plan for the Mooneyham Implementation Area, and learn what activities stakeholders want to see accomplished in 2024 and beyond.
The meeting will also be streamed on Teams Live from any internet connection (no app or software needed) by clicking here from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 13.

Your feedback on the 2023 draft implementation plans will be considered by interdisciplinary teams and the Responsible Official to further collaborative efforts and adjust implementation activities as appropriate.
