Rabun County scored early and often, cruising to a 62-21 win in a highly touted matchup against Mt. Pisgah.
The Cats were ranked #5 in the state and made their season debut. Senior quarterback Bailey Fisher didn’t disappoint, accounting for four total scores (131 passing yds, 2 TD; 111 rush yds, 2 TD) in just a little more than two quarters.
After leading at the half 45-14, Fisher and company found pay dirt quickly after the second half kickoff. Fisher’s 6-yard touchdown run after a huge kickoff return by Cole Keener made it 52-14. Fisher did not return the rest of the game, giving way to primarily the second string to finish out the game.
