Habersham County Schools’ Superintendent Matthew Cooper reported of the first day of the new school year that “we had our best first day of school ever in the four years I have been in Habersham County. I was able to visit all 14 of our schools today and found many smiles and positive attitudes. Numerous teachers and administrators expressed to me how smooth the start of school was this year. I want to thank our students, parents, teachers, and staff for a great start to the 2015-2016 school year. There is no doubt in my mind that we are going to be able to take our mission of ‘success for all students’ to the next level this year!”
