A family was left displaced after a structure fire in Toccoa on Jan. 23, according to the Carnes Creek Fire Department.
Toccoa firefighters responded to the structure fire around 5 p.m. last Thursday.
There, they found a mobile home with heavy smoke and flames visible from the front of the structure. Crews then began fire suppression efforts, and within a short time, they were able to bring the blaze under control.
There were no reported injuries, according to authorities, and the Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced family.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
