GAINESVILLE, Ga. – A house in the 5500 block of Bogus Road was completely destroyed by a fire Wednesday morning, according to Hall County Fire Rescue.
Hall County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the residence around 10 a.m. When firefighters arrived, the small, single-story house was already fully engulfed in flames, says Hall County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger. Crews extinguished the flames quickly and remained until finding all hot spots. The fire department reports that the home is a total loss.
Ledsinger says the homeowner was not at the home when the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported.
The fire’s cause remains unknown. The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
