Fire destroyed a mobile home in the Lula area late Thursday morning.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., Hall County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 8600 block of Forrester Road.
“Upon arrival, the trailer was fully engulfed with flames and emitting smoke from all openings,” says HCFR Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger.
Firefighters extinguished the bulk of the fire and knocked down the flames that spread to the resident’s shed behind the mobile home.
A primary search after the bulk of the fire was extinguished found no occupants in the home.
The White County Fire Department assisted with the water supply at the scene and the Red Cross has been contacted to assist the displaced homeowners.
Ledsinger says the cause of the fire is unknown at this time and will be investigated by Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
