The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a house in Gainesville Saturday.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., Hall County and Gainesville firefighters were dispatched to the 2000 block of Spring Road after receiving reports of a residential fire. The house was fully involved when they arrived
Crews attacked the fire from outside and quickly extinguished it, says Hall County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger.
“At this time, it is unknown if the residence was inhabited,” says Ledsinger, “no one was found during the crew’s primary search.”
The house is considered to be a total loss.
