Final vote Friday on Baldwin city budget

The Baldwin City Council will hold a special called meeting this Friday to finalize its budget. Council members are expected to vote to adopt the $3.6 million spending measure during the meeting at 6:30 p.m. on June 30.

The meeting will be held in the municipal courtroom at 155 Willingham Avenue. It comes at the start of the July Fourth holiday weekend, which Baldwin will celebrate with a communitywide “Pit”nic on Saturday, July first.

City offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

The Baldwin City Council’s regularly scheduled work session will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, in the municipal courtroom.
