Habersham’s spring festival season continues this weekend as the county plays host to two community wide events.
The Town of Alto will hold its annual Spring Fling on Saturday, June 4th from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.in downtown Alto. It will feature a parade, car show, live music, food and games.
And after a two year hiatus, good times on the river are back! The Soque River Watershed Association (SRWA) will host its third annual Soque River Festival on Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Pitts Park in Clarkesville. The festival will include music, food, kids activities, games, a cardboard boat “challenge”, and the rare opportunity to paddle a 1.5 mile section of the Soque in Clarkesville.
