The Board of Directors for Faith Christian Academy and The Torch Christian Academy’s Board of Directors have finalized plans to provide excellence in education with Christian values and Biblical teachings to the communities of Northeast Georgia. Faith Christian Academy’s Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students will be joining the Torch Christian Academy this academic school year. Future plans are to expand TCA to include 6th through 12th grades, as well, in the coming years.
The campus of Faith Christian Academy will continue providing classroom facilities and gymnasium for middle and high school students for the current school year and into the foreseeable future.
Expanded learning opportunities
Faith Christian Academy Board of Directors’ Co-Chairperson, Diane Brown, stated: “When two become one whether by marriage or the unification of Christian schools, the opportunities for growth and fulfillment of God’s Word become limitless. The youth of our communities are under relentless bombardment from social media, film, and music promoting the world’s view of life. It is the responsibility of the Christian community to come together for the greater good of our children by providing an educational foundation based on truth of Biblical standards to enter the world with physical, emotional and Spiritual confidence.”
The Torch Christian Academy Director Carrie Akers commented, “For the past two years, TCA has been blessed with an opportunity to provide students an outstanding academic education, while promoting the establishment of a Biblical world view in each child. It is with great expectancy that we are working to join two schools for one purpose. We are passionate about teaching children. Our belief is in strong academics and will continue to uphold high standards for our students. We believe in teaching Biblical truths and sharing God’s love. TCA is excited about the potentials for our students.”

Also, if you are interested in enrolling your child in TCA’s Preschool program, there are classes for Pre-K as well as 2 and 3 year olds.
