Family seeks answers in Cornelia woman’s disappearance

A local family is desperate for answers after their loved one went missing during a trip to the store.

25-year-old Minelys Rodriguez was last seen at the Walmart in Cornelia. The last known contact anyone had with her was by text message at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office says.

When she was last seen, Rodriguez was wearing a blue hoodie and white shorts.

Her family and friends have been passing out flyers to area businesses and the sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help to find her.
