His name is Dru, but he answers to Bubby, and his family wants him back.
This Great Dane Lab mix disappeared on GA 2 at Dick’s Creek west of Clayton Wednesday following a fatal wreck.
“He’s about eight years old. He was wearing a black harness [but] he’s not chipped,” says Kimberly Roeglin.
Roeglin is the sister-in-law of Jennifer Rzonca, who was driving the Ford Explorer when it crashed into a tree. The wreck killed Rzonca’s husband, Douglas, and injured her. Their 6-month-old daughter was safely strapped into a car seat and survived uninjured.
She’s now missing her father and beloved family pet.
Roeglin and her husband, Anthony, searched for the dog after the crash but have not been able to locate him.
“Someone said they saw him running a mile away from the accident into Towns [County],” she says. Beyond that, the family has little to go on except the prayerful hope that someone, somewhere, will find him.
If you see Dru, please call the Roeglins at 864-710-0725 or 864-865-9290.
