A fire forced five residents, including three children, out of their home Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to a report of a residential fire on Summerall Circle east of Braselton on Feb. 16.
“On arrival, units found heavy fire from the garage along with two vehicles burning,” says Hall County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Bobby Ogletree. He says everyone safely exited the home before firefighters arrived.
Firefighters made an “aggressive attack” and quickly knocked down the fire, says Ogletree. The fire heavily damaged the garage and vehicles and caused heat and smoke damage to the rest of the house.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Authorities contacted the Red Cross to assist the displaced family.
