Eddie Mitchell Withrow, age 80, originally from West Virginia, but a resident of Lula, Georgia for the past 54 years, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017, following a sudden illness.
Mr. Withrow was born on September 27, 1937, in Colcord, West Virginia to the late Roy and Gladys Withrow. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws, Birty and Mary Leach. Mr. Withrow was a retired Greyhound bus driver with 36 years of loyal and dedicated service. He was of the Christian faith. Eddie was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved bluegrass music.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Ann Withrow of Lula; daughter, Kelly Watts of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Faye Withrow of Flowery Branch and Brian and Tina Withrow of Lula; sister, Etta Mae Cooper of WV; brothers and sisters-in-law: Pete and Doris Withrow of OH, Emmett and Myrtle Withrow of WV, and Charles and Penny Withrow of WV; grandchildren: Tiffany Withrow, Tyler Watts, Savannah Withrow, Chris and Candi Deyton, and Brandi Breedlove; great-grandchildren: Madison Bouchard, Gannon and Bailey Breedlove, Bingham Rush, and Mary Ayres; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members in West Virginia and Ohio.
Per Mr. Withrow’s wishes, no formal services will be held and his cremains will be scattered over his home place in West Virginia.
