“The purpose of the Church’s year is continually to run through her great history of memories, to awaken the heart’s memory so that it can discern the star of hope. All the feasts in the Church’s calendar are events of remembrance and hence events of hope.” Benedict XVI.My brothers and sisters in Christ, we have yet a few more days of Lent, and then, the joy of Easter. Let me remind you of them:
Maundy Thursday – Holy Communion @ 6 p.m. Good Friday – Stations of the Cross from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A closing liturgy from 6-6:30 p.m. Holy Saturday – “He descended into Hell” at 11 a.m., followed by a cookout at noon. Easter Sunday – “Seek that which is above.” Easter Communion service. May the rhythm of our worship at STAAC fill you all with precious memories, but also of hope. Fr.
