Easter’s right around the corner and so is all the springtime fun it brings with it. Below is a list of Easter egg hunts and activities in our area.

Habersham
Community Easter Egg Hunt – Bethlehem Baptist Church, Clarkesville
Join in the fun at a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt starting at 10 a.m. on April 13 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville. There will be prizes, bouncy houses, and fun for the whole family! The church is located at 624 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
Photos with the Easter Bunny – Mauldin House Garden, Clarkesville
Clarkesville Main Street has invited the Easter Bunny back into town for FREE photos with the kids. He will be available from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 in the Mauldin House Garden at 458 Jefferson St, Clarkesville, GA 30523. A photographer will be on hand for free photos but parents are encouraged to bring their own camera.
Community Easter Egg Hunt – Demorest Springs Park, Demorest
Revive Church in Cornelia will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt at Demorest Springs Park from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13. Bring your Easter basket and join in the hunt! FREE food, prize drawings, and entertainment. The park is located at 559 Georgia St, Demorest, GA 30535.
FREE Community Cookout and Egg Hunt – Concord Church, Demorest
Join Concord at Habersham & Concord Iglesia Bilingüe for a community cookout and egg hunt starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 on the church lawn. Enjoy inflatables, hot dogs, egg hunt zones (ages 2-5 + ages 5-10), and more! All activities are free. The church is located at 250 Alabama Street, Demorest, GA 30535.

2nd Annual BBQ & Banjos – Assembly of Praise, Lula
Bring your Easter basket and lawn chair. Fun for the whole family from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 at the Assembly of Praise in Lula. Easter egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. There will be bounce houses, free games and prizes, live bluegrass music, gift card drawings, desserts and candy. BBQ plates are $10. Sunset Easter Egg Hunt – Tallulah Gorge State Park, Tallulah Falls
Join the fun at the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center from 6:30-8 p.m. on Friday, April 19. Celebrate Easter with crafts, popcorn, and an egg hunt at sunset. For children ages 0-12. Easter at the Farm 2019 – Hillside Orchard Farms, Lakemont
Bring the family out for an Easter on the farm at Hillside Orchard Farms in Lakemont beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. There will be events throughout the day including and Easter egg hunt for children up to 10 years old. The egg hunt begins at 2 p.m. Hillside Orchard Farms is located at 18 Sorghum Mill Drive, Lakemont, GA 30552.

Stephens County Recreation Department’s 36th Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Toccoa
The Stephens County Recreation Department will host its 36th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13. Come early and bring your Easter basket. There will be egg hunts in three age categories: 3 & under, 4-6, and 7-9. See the Easter Bunny, win prizes and have fun at the Rose Lane ball fields.
The hunt will begin promptly at 11 a.m. but be there around 10:30 a.m. Once it begins, it’s a race and over in about 10 minutes! For more information call 706-886-5101. The ball fields are located at 199 Rose Lane Park Drive, Toccoa, GA 30577.
White County
Cabbage Patch Kids Magical Easter Eggstravaganza – Cleveland
BabyLand General Hospital will host a day full of activities from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13. It begins with Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at 8 a.m. Reservations are required. The cost is $12.
There will be an outdoor fair and car display on the BabyLand grounds from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Activities include a D.J. and dancing with costume characters. There will be prize drawings every half hour starting at 10 a.m. Admission is FREE.
Promptly at 3 p.m., a FREE 30,000 Egg Hunt will begin on the grounds of BabyLand General Hospital. Eggs will contain prizes from various area businesses.
At 4 p.m. there will be an Easter Bonnet Contest followed at 5 p.m. with the Grand Prize drawing for a Little People Baby (valued at $295.)

Glow In The Dark Easter Egg Hunt & Kids Crafts – Unicoi State Park, Helen
Expect a “glowing” good time at Unicoi State Park and Lodge from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, April 19. The evening begins with kids crafts from 7-8 p.m. The Glow-In-The-Dark Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages 2-12 is from 8-10 p.m.

Old Fashioned Easter Egg Dying – Hardman Farm, Sautee-Nacoochee
Hardman Historic Farm in Sautee is putting the history into Easter egg dying. Learn how to dye your Easter eggs the old fashioned way with natural materials such as onions, beets, and turmeric from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. Eggs will be provided for participants. There will be baby chicks to hold and old fashioned games for kids to play with.
