Complaints led to investigation, arrests

Two Stephens County residents face drug charges for allegedly selling LSD and other drugs from one of the suspect’s homes.

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office and ARDEO arrested Zachary Ivester and Alexis Schuster Tuesday at Ivester’s residence on North Broad Road. Posey says the arrests followed a week long investigation. He says the investigation was prompted by “multiple complaints” of Ivester selling illegal narcotics from his residence.

“The search warrant yielded one pound of marijuana, 2 blotter papers of approximately 100 hits of LSD, 5 grams of Butane Hash Oil and a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun,” Posey says.

The street value of the drugs is approximately $15,000.

The 23-year-old Ivester and 20-year-old Schuster are both charged with possession with intent to distribute LSD, marijuana, and butane hash oil along with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. LSD and Butane Hash Oil are both Schedule I narcotics.

They were transported to the Stephens County Detention Center.

Theirs is the second arrest in Franklin County in recent weeks related to butane hash/honey oil which is a marijuana concentrate. Popular internet personality, YouTuber Kyle Myers of Carnesville aka FPS Russia, was arrested on August 7 for allegedly receiving a shipment of butane honey oil in the mail.
