Early voting is now underway for the March 1, 2016 Presidential Preference Primary. If you registered to vote by February 1st you’re eligible to vote in the upcoming primary. All early voting ends February 26th. If you have not cast your ballot by then you will need to go to your assigned voting precinct on primary election day, Tuesday March 1st.
Here are the times, dates and locations for Early, Saturday and Advanced Voting in Habersham County:
Early voting:
When: February 8-26, 2016 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Elections & Voter Registration Office in the basement of the old courthouse, 555 Monroe Street, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
Saturday Voting:
When: February 20, 2016 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Where: North Habersham Precinct – Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center, 120 Paul Franklin Road (Toccoa Highway), Clarkesville. South Habersham Precinct – First Baptist Church of Cornelia, 325 Oak Street (banquet hall/gym), Cornelia, GA 30531.
Advanced Voting:
When: February 22-26, 2016 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: North Habersham Precinct – Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center, 120 Paul Franklin Road (Toccoa Highway), Clarkesville. South Habersham Precinct – First Baptist Church of Cornelia, 325 Oak Street (banquet hall/gym), Cornelia, GA 30531.
On primary election day ballots will be cast at Habersham North and Habersham South precincts. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
