Traffic on GA 365 in northern Hall County was temporarily stalled Wednesday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash. Officers searched the woods with K9s for someone who officials say fled the scene.
“They were focusing on the white car in the middle hard and took the dogs to the woods,” says Matt Stephens. He was among the many delayed drivers who witnessed the search operation.
The crash happened at mile marker 26 near White Sulphur Road. Stephens says it appeared there were multiple vehicles involved that sustained minor damage.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville was put in charge of the investigation but has not released details. Now Habersham will update this story as new information becomes available.
