State troopers cited a Cornelia driver for several traffic violations after his pickup overturned in a wreck in south Habersham County.
According to the Georgia State Patrol crash report, 20-year-old Zyan Turk was driving a Ford Ranger on Garrison Road, turning right onto Mud Creek Road. The pickup truck crossed the center line, traveled off the roadway, and overturned. The vehicle struck three mailboxes, a concrete drive, and a culvert.
Troopers say no injuries were reported in the wreck, which occurred around 3:27 p.m. on Saturday, May 4.
The report states that Turk told troopers he was driving “too fast during the turn, and his tires were not in the best condition.” Troopers cited him for failing to maintain lane and tire violations and warned him for driving too fast for conditions.
