DQ in Cornelia gets facelift By Joy Purcell - October 10, 2014 FacebookTwitterEmailPrint A popular fast food hang out in Habersham is getting a facelift. The Dairy Queen in Cornelia recently closed for remodeling. The restaurant, located at the intersection of Business 441 and Camp Creek Road, is scheduled to reopen in December. Curbside seating anyone? Booths were moved out into the parking lot so demolition crews could move in. The front seating area of the restaurant was removed as of Oct. 8. Dairy Queen ice cream lovers in Cornelia will have to drive a few extra miles to the DQs in Baldwin or Clarkesville to satisfy their cravings for the next several months.
