Getting ready for school or work may be a bit harder this morning for some Demorest water customers after a water main break disrupted service.
The city issued a Nixle alert at 5:43 a.m., notifying the public of the outage.
Customers on Ansley Road, Blacksnake Road, GA 197, and surrounding areas could be affected.
Crews are now working to restore water service to these areas.
