
Debbie Hubbard Smith, age 68, of Lula, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Ms. Smith was born on October 26, 1956, in Hall County, Georgia, to the late Rudolph Hubbard and Blanche Murphy Hubbard. She was a member of Airline Baptist Church in Gainesville, and Debbie lived her life as a reflection of Christ’s love. She deeply loved Jesus, her church, her family, and her community. Debbie was known for her hospitality, as she loved to feed people meals over the years. Just nine days before her passing, Debbie was honored as the Grand Marshal of the Lula Railroad Days Parade. It was a moment of joy and recognition for her commitment to her community, family, and friends.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Stephen Jackson, of Alto; brother, Eddie Hubbard (Patricia Lewis), of Banks County; and grandchildren, Oakley, Oxley, and Olive, who called her Nana.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025, at Airline Baptist Church with Rev. Zach Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. May 16, 2025 at the church prior to the service.
She will be laid to rest at the Living Mission Methodist Church Cemetery.
