Deadline nears for HCHS Lifetime Achievement Award nominations

This is the sixth year that Habersham Central High School will recognize an alum with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Past recipients include Stacy Nicholson, Emily Howell, Marlan Wilbanks, Preston McConnell, and Aaron Scott.

February 15 is the deadline for nominations for the 2025 Habersham Central Lifetime Achievement Award.

Nominees must have received a diploma from Habersham Central between 1970 and 2000. The award will recognize an individual who has had a significant impact at the local, state, and/or national levels.

The recipient will be honored during the Class of 2025 graduation ceremony. A photo and professional biography of the recipient will be displayed at Habersham Central.

This marks the 6th year of the award. Past recipients include Dr. Stacy Nicholson, Class of ’77, honored in 2020; Dr. Emily Foster Howell, Class of ’96 (2021); Marlan Wilbanks, Class of ’79 (2022); Air Force Lt. Col. Preston McConnell, Class of ’91, (2023); and Dr. Aaron Scott, Class of ’91 (2024).
