Funeral services for David Clare Eash, age 78 of Alto, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Private interment will be held at a later date in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Eash passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Freeport, Michigan on February 22, 1940, Mr. Eash was the son of the late Clare and Buryl Heller Eash. Mr. Eash was a United States Army Veteran having served in Germany and he was a Construction Supervisor. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cornelia.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Purvis Eash of Alto, daughter and son in law Stacey and Bill Lorraine of Demorest, sons and daughters in law Doug and Michelle Eash of Nashville, Tennessee, Steve and Christie Eash of Atlanta, David, Jr. and Sonya Eash of Clarkesville, Adam and Joanne Eash of Clarkesville, brother John Eash of Michigan, sisters Nancy Eash Cook of Michigan, Judy Bjork of Michigan, and sister and brother in law Susie and Fred Fulsher of Michigan, as well as 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 5th prior to the service, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
