Team 6 is comprised of a politician and a thespian. Natalie Crawford, of Mt. Airy, is a native of Northeast Georgia. She serves as the District 4 Habersham County Commissioner and is the Director of Student Activities and Campus Events at Piedmont College in Demorest. Crawford is also an Archway Executive Committee member, member ex-officio and former Vice Chair of the Cornelia Downtown Development Authority, serves on the Cornelia Hospitality and Tourism Board, and is founder of the Evie Peters Foundation, dedicated to supporting Habersham County residents in the fight against breast cancer. In addition to working with students and community members, Natalie enjoys spending time with her two children, Chloe and Tommy, reading, writing, and performing. Her strong affinity for coffee helps her make the most of each day inspiring others to live their lives with purpose and passion. Justin Gallagher is no stranger to the stage and has been seen in dozens of shows throughout Northeast, GA. Georgia Professional Credits include High School Musical 2: Live On Stage (Teen Alternate w/Fox Theatre and Directed by Jeff Calhoun) and the Gift Talent Show, sponsored by McDonalds. Gallagher has lived in New York City for the past three years where he attended AMDA, and was also a cast member of the Off-Broadway company of Bloody Bloody, Andrew Jackson as Lyncoya with the 5th Floor Theater Company. Justin can be seen in the new spec-pilot of the Point of Divergence (Starring Adam Kaplan of NEWSIES on Broadway Fame) coming soon to the Sci-Fi and History Channels.
Team 7 is headed by the Chamber’s own, Judy Taylor. Taylor is the President of the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce. Prior to assuming this position in January 2009, she was vice president of Economic Development at North Georgia Technical College. She holds B.A. and M.Ed. degrees from the University of Georgia and Specialist and Ph.D. degrees from Georgia State University. She is a certified Economic Developer Trainer and sits on several boards, mostly related to economic development. Judy is the author of three business textbooks that were published by South-Western Publishing Company. These books were used throughout the United States and in foreign countries. Her work experience includes industry, business, education and the Chamber. Judy worked for 34 years in the Technical College System of Georgia, 20 at Athens Technical College and 14 at North Georgia Technical College. She has a passion for economic development and feels her work at the Chamber is a way to remain dedicated to this cause. Her partner, Matthew Temples has been showing off his love of dance for 12 years and has been a Cuer for 11 of those years. He is very involved with different groups and serves as a member of the following: Round-A-Lab, BMI/ASCAP, Georgia Round Dance Teacher’s Association, Dixie Round Dance Council, and the International Choreographed Ballroom Dance Association. Temples has also cued and taught at the Georgia State Square & Round Dance Convention, Tennessee State Square &Round Dance Convention, Alabama State Square & Round Dance Convention, and many others. Temples’ favorite rhythms include the jive, west coast swing, and two-step.
