A Gainesville man accused of possessing child sexual abuse material is in jail facing felony charges. On Thursday, March 28, authorities arrested Ryan Daniel Kinev, 38, after seizing several electronic devices during a search at a residence on Lotheridge Road.
At this point in the probe, investigators say they have found two images and two videos of children either being molested by adults or engaged in sexual acts with other children.
Investigators charged Kinev with four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. More charges are expected in the case, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office says. He is being held in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
A cybertip led to the search resulting in Kinev’s arrest. The GBI and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force are assisting sheriff’s investigators with the ongoing investigation.
