Customer helps to extinguish fire at Cleveland restaurant

(Cleveland)-  Cleveland fire units responded to an electrical fire at Subway 897 South Main Street in Cleveland Thursday night.  Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said, they were dispatched at 7:41 PM.

He said, a customer in the restaurant had already applied a fire extinguisher to the area of the fire, which slowed the spread.  The fire was located in a wall and according to Pruitt  they had to remove some of the wall to completely extinguish  the blaze.

White County fire units were also dispatched, but Pruitt said, they were cancelled  prior to arrival.   No injuries were reported.
