The White County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects in connection with a kidnapping in early October.
On Oct. 6, White County deputies responded to a report of an escaped kidnapping victim located in Clermont. Police say the female victim managed to free herself from restraints and called 911 at a nearby residence.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
Now both suspects – Ashley Nicole Sosebee, 32, of Cornelia and Dylan Anthony Forrester, 30, of Gainesville – are wanted on two counts of aggravated assault and a single count of kidnapping for their alleged involvement in the incident.
Both suspects are known to the victim, according to authorities. The investigation is still ongoing.
