Santa isn’t the only attraction at this year’s Habersham County Christmas Parade. The floats will be out in force on Saturday, December 5 as the City of Cornelia hosts the parade in the downtown area on Main Street. Community Development Manager Jessie Owensby says, “We have 38 entries in the parade, and all are part of our local family here, so we are excited to be able to host this event and come together as one county and one community.”

Other activities include a petting zoo, carolers, and hot chocolate. These fun-filled after-parade activities are sponsored by the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce. President Dr. Judy Taylor says, “We are located in Cornelia, and we are glad to be a part of it, so we wanted to do something special.”
The parade is Saturday, December 5 beginning at 10 a.m. on Main Street in downtown Cornelia. Activities following the parade will be at the Train Depot.
