Cornelia to host Christmas in the Park Dec. 12-14

Cornelia's Christmas in the Park light display opens Thanksgiving at dusk. It will close from 7-7:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, for a 5K. (NowHabersham.com)

Cornelia kicks off its Christmas in the Park celebration on Thursday, December 12. The three-day event will include a holiday market and photos with Santa inside the Cornelia Community House. There will be food and hayrides in the park.

Attractions will be open from 6-9 nightly through December 14.

While you’re at the park, enjoy the city’s drive-thru light display. It’s free and open to the public from 5-11 nightly through New Year’s Day.

The park and community house are located at 601 Wyly Street in Cornelia.
